I used to be a Gravity form advocate simply because of how amazing the plugin is. Continuous add ons/upgrades to the plugin and the support staff behind it. It’s even praised by Neil Patel as the number 1 form plugin in the world. But I found a better alternative.
Why I started looking for Gravity Forms alternatives
The pricing structure of gravity form always bothered me even though I enjoyed using it. As you all know, the Elite version of the plugin costs $259 a year. And that’s the pricing plan that makes the most sense for a freelance developer like myself or for an agency.
I started looking for alternative ways to get the price down. Discount or coupon codes or Best yet, maybe I could find a lifetime discount where I just have to pay once? Unfortunately, gravity form had a lifetime plan back in 2018, but they have stopped giving that option and has the pricing you see on their site ever since then. You can read more about it here. On black Fridays, they do give a 50% discount but it’s not permanent, it only applies for that year only, the renewal will cost you the normal amount. 🙁

As a freelance developer price was not my only concern, I find it hard to customize the gravity form fields. Especially the submit button, we have to force some CSS to override the default CSS. Control over the form we have is also limited in my opinion. But when it comes to integrations Gravity form is rich! And the interface is also easy to handle with the latest update of Gravity Forms 2.5 it has become much better!
At my workplace(Surge Global) we use Gravity Forms for all of our website projects and we always push our clients to use Gravity Forms as well. But now I am placed with a much better alternative.
Here we are having issues with the pricing and customizability in Gravity Forms trying to find the best alternative possible to removing the mentioned issues. And I’m glad I finally found it!
The best Gravity Forms alternative
The best alternative is Piotnet Forms. This plugin has been there for some time now, slowly getting attention from developers. This is truly a gem I found searching through the internet. This will be an in-depth review of Piotnet Forms.
14 Day Moneyback Guarantee Available for all plans.
Try out the Lifetime plan today, if you dont like it get it refunded easily.
The best part about this is, the plugin was initiated by a group of developers who understood the problems of modern-day form plugins and they constantly keep updating giving new features, like every week or so. I mean look at this changelog. I’ve never been passionate about a rising plugin before.

Why Piotnet Forms is the best alternative to Gravity Forms
The customizability you get on this form plugin is unlike anything I have seen on the market. I’m a seasoned web developer with over 7 years of experience, so yeah. Here are a few easy customizations that blew my mind. I know we can do this by forcing these with CSS or Js but why? When this plugin gives you that option on the house!
If you would like to test these forms out they have given the option for you to do so. And they have also showcased the above-mentioned customizations on their website home page which are interactive. Visit here.
Here’s a good tutorial you can watch.
Price Only $99 LIFETIME – GRAB WHILE IT LAST
We all wished we had purchased the Gravity Forms Lifetime offer when it was available before 2018. Here’s another chance like that, I am 100% sure this is not gonna last for a long time. So grab while it lasts! And thank me later maybe? haha
Live Chat support
Currently, they offer live chat support for inquiries. They have been quick for my messages even though I didn’t have any questions related to form issues.

Piotnet Forms Pros and Cons
Please note these can be very subjective to one another. But we all can agree on two things: the price and the customizability. I am saying that with confidence!
- Dirt cheap compared to competitors(Only $99 for now)
- Heavily customizable
- Easy to build (If you are familiar with Elementor or Divi this is a piece of cake)
- Very light weight
- Shortcodes by default
- Unique features compared to competitors
- Integrations keep stacking up
- Live Chat customer support(I just love it)
- There will be 2 plugins if you are on the Pro version. Free version and pro version. I personally find it annoying.
- Features documentation needs to be more detailed.
- Multiple unwanted content types
- License management is not great. It will be visible on every site you install it in.
It looks like the Pros outweighs the Cons, However, these are the only things I have found so far. You might have more Cons than me. Who knows. As a freelance developer, I really like the path this plugin is heading. Bear in mind, there will be a learning period for you when you get in to this plugin as well, just like you did when you got gravity forms first. But trust me it’s worth it.
Grab the deal today while it lasts. I’m glad I did! Just like Gravity Forms had the lifetime plan only for a limited time, Piotnet forms will only have this for a limited time. Whether you are freelancer or an Agency, It’s going to be a good investment for you.
